Voting at the polling station
You do not need to take your Official Poll Card with you to the polling station, but it will save time if you take it and show it to the clerk there.
Notices will be displayed in the polling station to give you guidance on how to cast your votes.
Postal Voting
As there is now little time before the deadline for applications, you are strongly advised to obtain an application form immediately.
An application form can be obtained from the Electoral Registration Service, Room 81, Wandsworth Town Hall, Fairfield Street Entrance, SW18 2PU, open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays leading up to the election and also Good Friday 14 April.
You can alternatively download the application
form from www.wandsworth.gov.uk/vote returning it to the above address when completed.
You can also telephone (020) 8871 6023 (voice only) or (020) 8871 6024 (textphone only for people who are deaf or have partial hearing) for an application form, email electoral@wandsworth.gov.uk or fax (020) 8871 8382 (no faxes will be accepted after the deadline).
You can also put your request in writing as long as you include your full name, your address as detailed on this poll card and where to send the ballot paper. Do not forget to sign your letter of request or the application will not be valid.
If you have already been granted a postal vote for this election, you will not be entitled to vote in person at a polling station, so please ignore this poll card.
If you are an existing postal voter and for this election only you wish your ballot paper to be sent to an address different from the address where you are registered you must state the reason for this redirection.
All ballot papers should be despatched by Tuesday 25 April at the latest, by first class post via Royal Mail.
Proxy Voting
An application form for a proxy vote can be obtained by phone or on-line in the same way as described above.
If you appoint a proxy to vote for you at the polling station, you may still vote in person if you do so before your proxy has voted on your behalf.
