SICK HOSPITALS
20th October 2005
Ninety-three beds at St George’s Hospital are to close to save over £9million in this financial year.
The Labour MP for Tooting said: "The loss of beds is counterbalanced by improvements in the way the hospital treats patients".
Few will believe this new Labour spin!
This is a grossly inefficient way to run the NHS.
If there were local democratic control the electorate would not allow hospital wards to lay idle.
