FREE PERSONAL CARE FOR THE ELDERLY / £25 MORE ON THE PENSION EVERY WEEK AT 75

 IMPROVING PENSIONER’S LIVES

We want to axe the Council Tax and replace it with a local income tax so that everyone pays according to their income. We will stop the scandal of elderly people having to pay for their own personal care if they have to go into residential care - as we have done in Scotland. We would also give all pensioners over 75 a decent pension, taking a million off means-testing.
